Paolo Orlando

President of the Jury
Graduated from DAMS (Discipline of Arts, Music and Entertainment), with a Master in Management of Film, Audiovisual and Multimedia Enterprises (MAGICA / ANICA). From the early years of his studies he developed a particular interest in film criticism and the organization of reviews and screenings, thanks to some experiences of cultural associations. Thus began his collaboration with CNI, Cult Network Italia, a satellite television channel of the Tele + platform, where the main editorial line was precisely the Cinema. Later, he moved on to Rai Sat, he took care of the programming of schedules for the Gambero Rosso channel. Later he began his career in Medusa as a programming assistant in Medusa Cinema. In 2007 he began to deal with distribution, first with the qualification of Sales Manager and then as Sales Director. Today Paolo Orlando is the Distribution Manager at Medusa Film (Rome).
Mario Mazzetti
Journalist
Born in Naples, he lives in Rome. He works for ANEC – National Association of Cinema Exhibitors. A freelance journalist, he is the editor-in-chief of the bimonthly Vivilcinema, published by the FICE – Italian Federation of Essai Cinema.
He is director of the CineNotes newsletter, published by ANEC. On behalf of FICE, he organizes the Essai Cinema Meetings, also taking care of the FICE Awards, awarded to the excellence of Italian and European cinema.
He is a member of the Jury that awards the David di Donatello to the Best Short Film.
He oversaw the selection for film festivals and reviews, such as the Mosaico d’Europa Film Festival in Ravenna and the Maratea Film Festival.
Manuela Rima
He works at Rai Cinema, in the Strategic and Digital Marketing sector, and deals with the research and production of ad hoc content for the web area entirely dedicated to cinema. Graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Bologna, after a Master in Marketing and Communication at the IULM University of Milan, she began working in Mediaset as assistant director of TV programs, in 2006 she moved to Rome to follow her passion for cinema and here he works for various film sets, before joining the staff of Rai Cinema in 2011.
Mirella Cheeseman
Mirella Cheeseman works in the development phase of television and film projects with particular attention to international ones for Wildside, one of the leading production companies in Italy, producers of The New Pope and My Brilliant Friend. Mirella has worked on projects with writers and directors including Niccolò Ammaniti, Luca Guadagnino and Saverio Costanzo. Mirella was previously Director of Production & Development for Jean Doumanian Productions in New York, where he has worked in both theater and film.
