How to get to Saturnia

From Rome

🚗 By Car

Take the A12 Rome-Civitavecchia motorway north.
Continue on Strada Statale 1 Aurelia (E80).
Take the Montalto di Castro exit.
Follow the signs for the provincial road (SP105 and SP10) towards Manciano and then Saturnia.

🚆🚍 By Train and Bus

Take a regional train on the Rome-Pisa line from Rome stations (e.g., Termini or Ostiense) and get off at Albinia or Grosseto stations.

From Albinia, you can take local buses operated by Autolinee Toascana (e.g., line 41P to Manciano and then change to line 17P to Saturnia).

From Milan

Take the A1 Milan-Bologna-Florence motorway, exit at Firenze Impruneta (formerly Certosa).
Take the Siena-Grosseto highway, exit at Roselle (just before Grosseto) and follow the signs for Scansano, Montemerano, and finally Saturnia.

Take a Frecciarossa or Italo train from Milan Central Station to Florence Santa Maria Novella.
From Florence, take a regional train to Grosseto.

Intercity trains from Milan Central Station to the Tyrrhenian line, stopping in Grosseto without changing trains.
