The 8th edition of the Saturnia Film Festival<\/strong>, scheduled from July 30th to August 3rd, 2025, in the most charming villages of the Tuscan Maremma, expands the list of guests, in addition to those already announced \u2013 including Lillo Petrolo, Francesco Costabile, Christian Filippi and Stefano Lorenzi.<\/p>\n

Confirming the Festival’s auteur-focused character and contemporary scope\u2014promoted by the cultural association ARADIA PRODUCTIONS, chaired by Antonella Santarelli and artistically directed by director Alessandro Grande\u2014the lineup expands with Giulia Michelini<\/strong>, the protagonist of Stefano Lorenzi’s film Afrodite, alongside Ambra Angiolini.<\/p>\n

Another confirmed guest is Francesco Gheghi<\/strong>, who won Best Actor in the Orizzonti section at the 2024 Venice Film Festival for his performance in Francesco Costabile’s Familia. Gheghi is also participating as a director, presenting his short film La buona condotta<\/strong>, which marks his directorial debut<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another actor at Saturnia as a director is Maurizio Lombardi<\/strong>, who is bringing his short film Marcello<\/strong> to the competition. Gheghi himself stars in the film, which has already won a Nastro d’Argento.<\/p>\n

Finally, here’s the announcement of the official jury for the Short Film Competition<\/strong>, chaired by Paolo Orlando (director of Medusa Film), and composed of Selene Caramazza<\/strong>, Manuela Rima (01 Distribution), Mario Mazzetti (Anec, Fice, Vivilcinema), and Teresa Pasquini (Rai Cinema).
